As a business operator, Bobby enjoys developing and motivating teams, establishing operational discipline, enabling businesses with technology, expanding revenue and margins, and driving continuous improvement.
Bobby has more than 15 years of experience managing and growing businesses. He worked in sales before business school, and afterwards he spent seven years as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney, where he helped dozens of businesses to improve profitability. He most recently spent four years leading national distribution operations for Reddy Ice -- a manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice with $350 million in annual revenue.
Bobby holds a BA in Economics and Communications from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
As a banker and lawyer, Bob has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their objectives with forethought and prudence. He is an experienced mentor and advisor; he enjoys investing time in people and watching them grow.
Bob has more than 45 years of experience in banking and law. Most recently, he spent fifteen years at Jefferson Bank where he served as Division President, Jefferson Bank Trust. Before joining Jefferson Bank, Bob practiced law for more than thirty years with the firms of Groce, Locke & Hebdon and Baucum Steed Barker.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Business (Bachelor of Business Administration in the Honors Program of Studies, 1969) and the University of Texas School of Law (Doctor of Jurisprudence, 1971).
